As a social architect holding an integrated vision for a co-creative planetary culture, Katharine, together with her husband, Makasha has lived her life at the evolutionary edge. Since her early twenties she has been guided by the inquiry: “ As we awaken to a vaster experience of the nature of consciousness, how is this expressed in every aspect of life? How must all systems transform in order to truly embody the values and virtues we hold sacred?”

Katharine’s journey over the past 5 decades has been an expression of new possibilities in integral education, gentle birthing, health and well being, youth empowerment and women’s spirituality. She has facilitated programs internationally in the principles and practices of co-creation, is co-author with Carolyn Anderson of The Co-Creator’s Handbook 2.0., and a partner in Living Co-Creation www.livingcocreation.com.

1996 Katharine co-founded Hummingbird Community in northern New Mexico as a living laboratory for conscious evolution, co-creation, and regenerative living. She is currently Co-Executive Director of Hummingbird Transformational Living Center www.hummingbirdtlc.org whose purpose is to be an inter-generational experiential learning center in dynamic relationship with the wisdom of the natural world. As a co-founder of her family’s youth organization, Earth Guardians, www.earthguardians.org Katharine is committed to inter-generational partnership in the raising of consciousness and shifting of culture.

Award-winning geneticist and broadcaster David Suzuki co-founded the David Suzuki Foundation in 1990. In 1975, he helped launch and host the long-running CBC Radio’s, Quirks and Quarks. In 1979, he became familiar to audiences around the world as host of CBC TV’s The Nature of Things, which still airs new episodes.

From 1969 to 2001, he was a faculty member at the University of British Columbia, and is currently professor emeritus. He is widely recognized as a world leader in sustainable ecology and has received numerous awards for his work, including a UNESCO prize for science and a United Nations Environment Program medal. He is also a Companion of the Order of Canada.

He has 29 honorary degrees from universities in Canada, the US and Australia. For his support of Canada’s Indigenous peoples, Suzuki has been honoured with eight names and formal adoption by two First Nations.

In 2010, the National Film Board of Canada and Legacy Lecture Productions produced Force of Nature: The David Suzuki Movie, which won a People’s Choice documentary award at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival. The film weaves together scenes from the places and events that shaped Suzuki’s life and career with a filming of his “Last Lecture”, which he describes as “a distillation of my life and thoughts, my legacy, what I want to say before I die.”

In 1972 Makasha co-founded World Family and has been a principal focalizer for international festivals and link-ups for world peace including World Invocation Day Festivals, the John Lennon Tribute, Harmonic Convergence, Campaign for the Earth, and the Children’s Torch of Hope. In addition, he was a key supporter for the First Earth Run, Live Aid Event, and Birth 2012.

Through entrepreneurial ventures and nonprofit organizations, Makasha has been instrumental in shifting consciousness in the areas of social investing, conscious commerce, health and nutrition, gentle birthing, integral education, and conscious media. His devotion to the younger generations has fueled his co-founding and contributing over the past 3 decades to the growth of his family’s youth organization, Earth Guardians. Makasha is the father of 8, grandfather of 23, and great-grandfather of 23. As a guardian of the “new dream”, he is passionately committed to whole systems transformation and midwifing a Co-Creative planetary culture in service to the well-being of all life.

Throughout this vast and diverse global movement there is a growing recognition that we already have the knowledge, skills, ideas, technologies and resources to effectively address all our escalating crises. For over 20 years Yan Golding has been researching and playing in the fields of conscious personal and cultural evolution. In 2003 he co-founded an ecovillage in South Africa where he lived and worked for 8 years. Yan has taught permaculture and ecovillage design, and has initiated a transition town in Portugal. He is passionate about discovering and cataloging regenerative and systemic solutions and innovations. Since 2010 Yan has devoted himself to supporting the global transformation movements towards unity and trans-disciplinary collaboration for transitioning our dysfunctional social systems.

Since 2015 he has co-initiated and stewarded United Earth, Synergy Hub, Global Solutions Day and A Solutions Revolution. Yan also played a coordinating role in the initial international expansion of Extinction Rebellion.
